About the Asia eSIM
VoyaSIM's Asia regional eSIM covers a curated set of Asian markets on one plan — from Japan and South Korea in the northeast to Indonesia and the Philippines in the southeast. Plan tiers range from focused 5-7 country bundles to wide 20+ country coverage including China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and more.
Good to know: China coverage usually routes through Hong Kong-based partner carriers, which often gives access to Western services (Google, WhatsApp, Instagram) that are blocked on China-domestic SIMs — but confirm on the individual plan detail page. Japan and South Korea are sometimes a separate sub-region due to different carrier agreements.
How activation works: Choose a plan tier above, complete checkout, and receive your QR code by email. Install before traveling — the validity timer only starts when your phone first connects to a partner network in one of the covered countries. The eSIM automatically switches between networks as you cross borders within the region.
