Nigeria eSIM: questions travelers ask

01How much do Nigeria eSIM plans cost?

11 plans from $1.20 up to $66.60. Prices are live from the catalog and every plan page shows the current price, the data amount and the validity.

02Which networks does the Nigeria eSIM use?

The plans connect to Glo. Each plan page lists its networks and whether they offer 3G, 4G or 5G.

03When does my Nigeria plan start?

At the first connection to a network in Nigeria, not when you buy or install it. Install at home over Wi‑Fi; the days start counting when you land.

04How do I install the eSIM?

The QR code arrives by email within minutes of payment. iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM and scan it. Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM. It takes about two minutes; the help center has the step-by-step version.

05Do I keep my phone number and WhatsApp?

Yes. The eSIM carries data only and works next to your own SIM, so your number, WhatsApp, iMessage and banking apps keep working. Switch data roaming off on your home SIM so it never bills you abroad.

06What happens when the data runs out?

Add more data from My eSIMs in a minute, or switch on auto top-up after checkout and the same plan is added by itself at 90% used. Daily plans get cheaper per day the more days you buy at once.

07Can I get a refund?

Yes, in full, as long as the eSIM was never activated. A technical problem that stops activation is refunded too; write to support with your order number.
