Auto top-up refills an eSIM for you. Right after a purchase, checkout asks whether to keep this eSIM topped up; if you say yes, your card is kept securely and, when the plan reaches 90% used (fixed-data plans) or its last day (daily plans), the same plan is bought again and added to the eSIM. You are notified each time, and you can switch it off at any moment.
How it behaves
- The refill is the plan you chose when you switched it on, at the catalog price at the moment of the refill.
- You get a push notification (app) or an email for every refill, and if a payment fails.
- Nothing is charged while the eSIM is idle: a plan that never starts is never refilled.
Switching it on or off later
Open the eSIM in My eSIMs: the auto top-up card shows the current state and lets you turn it off, or on again. Saying "no" at checkout also removes the saved card.
Frequently asked questions
Is my card stored by VoyaSIM?
No. The card stays with our payment processor; VoyaSIM keeps only a reference to it, and declining auto top-up deletes that reference.
What if the plan has no top-up option?
Then auto top-up is not offered for that eSIM. You can buy a new plan when needed.
