On Android, connect to Wi-Fi, open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Samsung: Connections → SIM manager), tap "Add eSIM" or "Download a SIM instead", and scan the QR code from your VoyaSIM email. Set the new line as the mobile data SIM and switch on data roaming for it when you land.
Step by step
- Connect to Wi-Fi.
- Pixel and most Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM (or the + button) → Download a SIM instead → scan the code.
- Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code.
- Choose the lines: keep your home SIM for calls and SMS, and set the VoyaSIM line as the SIM for mobile data.
- Before you land: open the VoyaSIM line's settings and switch on Roaming (data roaming). Switch it off on the home SIM.
If the menu names differ
Manufacturers rename these screens. Searching the Settings app for "eSIM" or "SIM manager" finds the right place on any Android 10 or newer phone. The email also has the activation code for manual entry if the camera cannot read the code.
